Over 100 motorcycle enthusiasts are expected to converge on the ancient city of Kano for the 20th Metallic Durbar Anniversary, scheduled to hold from October 31st to November 2nd, 2025
The President of the Royal Motorcycle Club, Hamada Adam, disclosed that preparations are in top gear to ensure the success of the event, which is being organized by Kano United Riders the first of its kind in the state.
According to Adam, the three-day celebration will feature a range of activities including visits to orphanages, hospital donations, free healthcare outreach, bike and car stunts, a town ride, picnic, and an award night.
“We riders have continued to contribute positively to uplifting the lives of the less privileged in society. Organizing this event will further add value to our efforts,” he said.
He added that motorcycle riders from within and outside Kano State are expected to participate, showing solidarity and support for both the state and federal governments’ developmental programmes.
Adam also appealed to residents to support the organizers to ensure the event’s success, while appreciating security agencies for their continuous cooperation and urging them to sustain their commitment throughout the celebration.
Dignitaries from across Nigeria are expected to grace the occasion.
