President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the Registrar of Bayero University, Kano, BUK, Haruna Aliyu, as a member of the Governing Council of the Federal College of Education, Odugbo, Benue State.
The appointment was conveyed by the Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa.
The appointment recognises Aliyu’s administrative experience, professional competence and contributions to the advancement of university administration.
As a member of the Governing Council, Aliyu is expected to contribute his expertise to the strategic direction and institutional development of the Federal College of Education, Odugbo.
The appointment also highlights the Federal Government’s efforts to draw on experienced education administrators in strengthening governance and management within Nigeria’s tertiary education institutions.
