The Kebbi State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK, has charged Special Assistants on New Media under the Argungu Emirate to strengthen collaboration and teamwork in promoting the policies and programmes of Governor Nasir Idris’ administration.
The Commissioner gave the charge while addressing the Special Assistants on New Media at the Argungu Local Government Secretariat in Kebbi State.
Yakubu BK stressed the need for unity, dedication and coordinated efforts to achieve greater results in communicating the achievements of the administration to the people.
He said stronger collaboration among the New Media aides would further enhance the visibility of the accomplishments recorded by the Governor in the past three years.
The Commissioner commended the media aides for their contributions towards publicising the activities and achievements of the administration, urging them to sustain their efforts.
He also called on the aides to remain professional, coordinated and proactive in disseminating accurate information on government policies and programmes.
Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Governor on New Media, Aliyu Bandado, urged the Special Assistants to continue supporting the administration through effective communication and strategic use of social media platforms.
Bandado said Governor Nasir Idris had consistently emphasised the importance of social media in modern governance.
He noted that the commitment and dedication of the New Media team would continue to contribute to effective dissemination of the Governor’s achievements and strengthen public engagement.
He also called on the Governor to sustain his support and empowerment of the New Media team to enable them to deliver more effectively.
