The Kano Budget Working Group (KBWG) has described the enactment of the state climate change policy by the Kano State Government (KNSG) as a landmark achievement.

In a statement signed by Comrade Safiyanu Lawal Bichi, MNES, the KBWG explained that this significant move demonstrates the state’s firm commitment to environmental sustainability and its pursuit of a zero-emission future.
The statement also expressed the KBWG’s warmest congratulations to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, on this remarkable accomplishment.
