The Council of Legal Education, Nigerian Law School held its 2026 Administrative Roundtable/Workshop from February 19–20 at the Headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, under the theme “Horizon of Excellence: Mastering Sustainable Momentum.”
The two-day workshop brought together senior administrative and technical personnel from all campuses to enhance coordination, strengthen institutional effectiveness, and promote operational excellence across the Nigerian Law School.
In her opening remarks, the Director-General, Dr. Olugbemisola Titilayomi Odusote, defined sustainable momentum as a commitment to consistency, discipline, accountability, maturity of processes, and digital enablement principles now embedded as operational standards for the Institution.
She emphasized the critical synergy between administrative and academic staff, noting:
“Administration is the engine room that shapes the system, while academics shape the mind.”
Dr. Odusote also encouraged staff to align their duties with the #ARISE Framework, an institutional strategy encompassing Academic Excellence, Research and Service, Infrastructure, Sustainability, and Enhanced Technology, designed to reinforce administrative reliability and ensure global competitiveness for the Nigerian Law School.
The workshop featured panel discussions and interactive sessions on strategic themes, including:
Strengthening synergy to achieve the Institution’s vision and mission
Upholding professionalism and enforcing discipline among staff and students
Advancing digitization and workflow automation
Leading with impact through emotional intelligence and strategic team building
Maintaining confidentiality and data protection, especially for sensitive information
Addressing personal challenges in the workplace
The 2026 Administrative Roundtable/Workshop reflects the Nigerian Law School’s commitment to embedding sustainable administrative practices, enhancing staff capacity, and positioning the Institution for continued excellence in legal education.
