The Kaduna State Government has dismissed as false reports circulating on social media claiming that Governor Uba Sani has approved the creation of a Hausa Dynasty within the Zazzau Emirate.
In a statement issued by, the Office of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos, described the report as misleading and entirely fabricated.
According to the statement, the fake report alleged that Governor Uba Sani had endorsed plans to establish a Hausa Royal Dynasty in the Zazzau Emirate as part of efforts to restore balance and inclusiveness in the traditional leadership structure of Zaria.
It further claimed that the move would introduce an additional dynasty to the existing ones within the emirate.
The Commissioner’s office, however, categorically denied the claims, stressing that Governor Uba Sani has neither approved nor considered the creation of any new dynasty in the Zazzau Emirate.
“The report is completely false and has no basis whatsoever,” the statement said, adding that the Kaduna State Government remains committed to preserving peace, stability, and the integrity of traditional institutions across the state.
The government urged members of the public to disregard the misinformation and refrain from spreading unverified reports that could undermine harmony and unity in the state.
It also called on the originators of the false report to retract the publication immediately, warning against the spread of content capable of causing tension or misrepresenting government policies.
