The Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State, Dr. Mani Tsoho Gwarzo, has received a newly constructed Fire Service Office donated by the former Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Engr. Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo, to enhance emergency response services in the area.
The facility was formally handed over to the local government by a delegation from the former minister’s office led by his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Magaji Lambu, who said all arrangements had been concluded for the transfer of the project to the Gwarzo Local Government Council for the benefit of residents.
Receiving the facility, Dr. Mani Tsoho Gwarzo described the project as a significant milestone in strengthening public safety and emergency response in the local government.
He said the modern Fire Service Office would improve firefighting operations, safeguard lives and property, and enhance rescue services across communities in Gwarzo Local Government Area.
The council chairman commended Engr. Abdullahi Tijjani Gwarzo for his commitment to executing people-oriented projects, noting that the donation reflects his dedication to the development and well-being of the people.
Dr. Mani assured that the local government would ensure proper maintenance of the facility to guarantee efficient service delivery and long-term benefits to the community.
He also appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for providing an enabling environment for the execution of developmental projects across the country.
The newly completed Fire Service Office has since been commissioned and is now fully operational, providing emergency and firefighting services to residents of Gwarzo Local Government Area.
