The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has commenced a capacity-building workshop to equip its personnel with the knowledge and practical skills required to comply with the new online asset declaration platform.
The initiative is part of efforts to support the transition from manual to digital asset declaration, in line with the Code of Conduct Bureau’s vision of fully digitising the process for public officers.

The workshop aims to familiarise NCAA personnel with the features of the online platform, provide practical training on submission and review procedures, clarify compliance requirements and deadlines, and address operational concerns.
Speaking at the Lagos session held on October 8, 2026, the Director of Human Resources and Administration, Dr Anastasia Gbem, described the digital transition as a welcome development for the Authority.
Dr Gbem said the platform would make asset declaration faster, more secure, transparent and accessible, while making it easier for public officers to meet their obligations.

She emphasised that asset declaration was not merely a routine civil service requirement but a constitutional obligation and an important foundation for public trust and responsible service.
The director urged participants to take the training seriously and familiarise themselves with the requirements to ensure full compliance as the digitalisation process progresses.
The workshop featured practical sessions and interactive discussions led by officials of the Code of Conduct Bureau, including the Director of Finance and Accounts, Mr Jimoh Alabi; Director of Education and Advocacy Services, Mrs Afolabi Ayobami; Lagos State Director, Mr Augustine Ebojie; and Mr Ibrahim Kehinde of the Education and Advocacy Services Department.
The exercise is scheduled to cover all six NCAA regional offices. The Port Harcourt session was held on October 6, while the Kano and Kaduna sessions are scheduled for October 15, 2026.
