Over five hundred and forty-two persons have been enrolled in the ongoing Katsina healthcare contributory scheme KTSCHMA in Dutsinma Comprehensive Health Center.
The Officer in charge of the center, Alhaji Abubakar Suleiman Liman, made this known in Dutsinma while briefing newsmen.

He explained that the comprehensive health center has recorded a huge success in discharging their primary responsibilities, adding that those enrolled in the system are receiving drugs and other medical care at a lower cost.

Alhaji Abubakar Liman further explained that, he center also provides medicine and medical care to over 2000 people under the basic Healthcare Provision Fund (BHCPF) , to 422 Vulnerable Persons mostly pregnant women and children.

He commended the effort of the state governor ,Malam Dikko Umar Radda ,for re-introducing the program for the benefit of the state’s and local government workers as well as poor and vulnerable..
The officer in charge hinted that, the center has organizing a town hall meetings, lectures ,and education talks to educate the good people of the area about some health issues as well as government policies and programs.

He also called on the public to always visit the nearest health facility to know their health status especially those willing to marry adding that, at Dutsinma cComprehensive Health Center,the test is free .
Alhaji Abubakar Liman enumerated some achievements recorded within a period under review ,which include the renovation of the center and securing of mattresses, maternity beds, forty plastic chairs, land laboratory equipment,among others.
In a related development, the center also spent over three million naira for the purchase of brand new gulf wagon ,which serves as utility and ambulance vehicle, adding that staff welfare is paramount.

According to him, 44 casual staff were employed and being paid monthly allowances to complement government efforts toward addressing the shortage of manpower in primary health centers PHCs.
