The Chairman of the Kebbi State 2026 Hajj Delegation, Alhaji Ahmad Jafar Jega, has undertaken an inspection visit to the Hajj Camp in Birnin Kebbi as part of preparations for the upcoming pilgrimage exercise.
During the visit, Alhaji Jega was conducted round the facility by the Executive Chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Faruku Yaro Enabo, to assess the level of readiness ahead of the 2026 Hajj operation.
The delegation reviewed key facilities and logistics put in place for the smooth conduct of the exercise, with the Chairman expressing satisfaction with the overall state of preparedness at the camp.
Alhaji Jega commended the leadership of the agency for its commitment and proactive efforts in ensuring a hitch-free Hajj operation.
He noted that the arrangements on ground reflect a strong level of readiness to deliver a successful pilgrimage exercise for intending pilgrims from the state.
He further assured that the delegation would remain diligent in carrying out its responsibilities to justify the confidence reposed in them, while working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure a seamless and successful 2026 Hajj exercise.
The inspection visit highlights ongoing efforts by the Kebbi State Government to strengthen coordination and improve welfare arrangements for pilgrims ahead of the annual religious obligation.
