The Kano state governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has imposed a 24-hour Curfew in the state.
The Governor stated this while addressing journalists at the government house in Kano.
He said the decision to impose a 24-hour Curfew became necessary due to brake of law and order by some unpatriotic citizens who took advantage of the peaceful protest and began to loot people’s property.

The Governor maintained that after extensive deliberations by the head of the security agencies in Kano during an emergency security meeting at the government house it was resolved to impose a curfew for peace to reign.
He Appealed to the citizens of the state to continue to be law abiding always and peace lovers.
