The Kano State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, citing his administration’s developmental strides across the northern region, particularly in Kano State.
The endorsement was announced during a high-level stakeholders’ meeting held in Kano, where party leaders also reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty to former APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, describing his leadership as visionary and inclusive.

Reading the meeting’s resolutions, Kano APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, praised Ganduje for initiating transformative reforms during his tenure, including:
The launch of e-registration for APC members, establishment of the Progressive Institute and implementation of youth and women empowerment programs.
The gathering commended President Tinubu’s commitment to infrastructure development, with special mention of ongoing projects in the North.
Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, Hon. Abba Kabir Bichi, who represents Bichi Federal Constituency, highlighted key federal projects such as:Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Expressway,
Kano-Hadeja Road,Kano Railway Bypass, valued at N250 billion,A proposed Kano Light Rail Project worth over $1 billion (N1.5 trillion).

“As chairman of the Appropriations Committee, I know what has been allocated. The President has done a lot. And we must be realistic and sincere about the progress achieved so far,”

Party stakeholders emphasized the need for internal unity, strategic planning, and grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections.
