During the engagement, Sarina presented an advocacy campaign poster highlighting the importance of accessible infrastructure within police premises and the need to ensure that persons with disabilities can access police services safely, independently and with dignity.
The advocacy focused on removing physical barriers that may prevent persons with disabilities, older persons and people with mobility challenges from accessing essential public services. V-PeSDI specifically called for the provision of accessible ramps at the Police Headquarters to facilitate safe and dignified access.
Responding to the request, CP Ibrahim Bakori commended Sarina for his continued efforts to promote disability inclusion and accessibility in public spaces. He expressed his commitment to providing accessible ramps within the Police Headquarters, Bompai.

V-PeSDI described the commitment as an important step towards strengthening disability-inclusive policing and ensuring that law-enforcement facilities are accessible to everyone, regardless of disability or mobility status.
The organisation said accessible police infrastructure is not merely a matter of physical convenience, but is closely connected to equal access to justice, security, protection and essential public services.
It stressed that persons with disabilities should be able to report cases, seek protection, obtain assistance and interact with law-enforcement institutions without encountering avoidable physical barriers.
