A four-day Women’s Bazaar, organised by the Kano State Ministry of Women Affairs, Children, and Persons with Special Needs, has successfully concluded, with each participant receiving ₦50,000 to support and expand their businesses.
The initiative, led by Commissione and Ambassador Amina Abdullahi San, provided a vibrant platform for women entrepreneurs, including persons with special needs (PWDs), to showcase and sell their products, build business networks, and access new markets.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Commissioner, represented by the Director of the Women Department, Bilkisu Shafi’u Jibrin, commended the participants for their creativity, resilience, and commitment to economic self-reliance.
She described the bazaar as part of the Ministry’s broader efforts to promote women’s economic empowerment and inclusive growth across Kano State.
The event ended in an atmosphere of excitement and gratitude, as participants celebrated successful sales, new business partnerships, and the financial support received from the Ministry.
Ambassador Amina Abdullahi Sani reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to empowering women and persons with special needs, while also commending Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his unwavering support and dedication to improving the welfare and economic status of women in Kano State.
