The Executive Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Area, Dr Mani Tsoho Gwarzo, has distributed motorcycles and uniforms to Vigilante members as part of measures to strengthen security across the local government.
The chairman also presented motorcycles to NNPP ward chairmen across the ten (10) wards.
He handed over a brand-new vehicle to the NNPP Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government, reinforcing logistical support for the party administration and grassroots coordination.

Speaking at the event, the NNPP Leader in Gwarzo Local Government, Alhaji Abdulqadir Ahmad Getso, expressed deep appreciation to Dr Mani Tsoho for the intervention, describing it as timely and impactful.
He commended the distribution of motorcycles to ward chairmen and urged party members to remain patient, noting that the initiative marks the beginning of further interventions from the council leadership.
In his address, Dr Mani Tsoho thanked Kano State Governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his commitment to addressing security challenges in Gwarzo.
He called on residents to intensify prayers for lasting peace and commended security personnel for their dedication and sacrifices in safeguarding lives and property.

The chairman further disclosed that the Kano State Government has approved the recruitment of 100 youths to support security efforts against kidnapping and other criminal activities.
He added that approvals have also been granted for several development projects across all ten wards of the local government, which residents will begin to witness soon.
Representing the District Head of Gwarzo, Alhaji Bello Abubakar Gwarzo (Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta of Kano), Malam Kabiru Muhammad advised Vigilante members to use the equipment responsibly and thanked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for proactive steps toward improving security in the area.
Speaking on behalf of beneficiaries, the Vigilante Commander of Gwarzo, Abdulqadir Samaila Gwarzo, expressed gratitude to the local government chairman and pledged continued commitment to protecting lives and property.
Similarly, the NNPP Gwarzo LGA Secretary, Alhaji Samaila Hamza Kayyu, thanked the chairman, the governor, and Deputy Governor Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo for their support and approvals that ensured the success of the event.
The event, held at the Gwarzo Local Government Secretariat, was attended by NNPP supporters, the Vice Chairman, the Secretary to the Local Government, the Council Leader, elected and appointed councillors, journalists, security agencies, Hisbah officials, ward and village heads, and members of the public.
