Executive members of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Gargari Ward, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, have announced the sack and expulsion of the party’s State Chairman, Hashimu Dungurawa, over alleged misconduct.
The decision was reached during the ward’s second executive meeting held two weeks after the general election.
A total of 27 ward executive members endorsed the resolution, which was signed under the leadership of the Ward Chairman, Shuaibu Hassan, alongside the Ward Secretary, Yahaya Saidu Dungurawa.
According to the resolution, Dungurawa was expelled for allegedly creating divisions within the party, instigating internal crises, failing to pay party dues, and making abusive remarks against the Kano State Governor.
The ward executives described the alleged actions as unacceptable, noting that they undermine the image, unity, and progress of the NNPP.
They emphasised that the decision was taken in strict compliance with the party’s constitution, stressing the importance of discipline, unity, and internal cohesion.
The leadership of Gargari Ward announced that copies of the resolution have been forwarded to the party’s local, State, and National headquarters for necessary action.
