The people of Dambatta and Makoda Local Government Areas have been thrown into jubilation following a groundbreaking empowerment initiative by Rt Hon Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari, Member representing the twin local government areas at the House of Representatives.

As part of the initiative, Rt Hon Engineer Chidari disbursed cash interventions totaling over N40 million to youths in Dambatta and Makoda to enable them engage in small and medium businesses.

He also donated various items, including sewing machines, water pump generators, laptop computers, grinding machines, a brand new saloon bus to the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, Dambatta Area Office, and two golf cars to outstanding personalities in the twin areas.
According to Rt Hon Engineer Chidari, the gesture is aimed at bringing succor to the lives of his constituents. He emphasized that this is just the beginning, as more routine empowerment programs await the people of his constituency.

Rt Hon Engineer Chidari also highlighted some remarkable milestones achieved under his stewardship, including sponsoring students for overseas training, securing appointments for youths at the federal level, and facilitating slots for military and police recruitment. He noted that these initiatives are aimed at reducing the high rate of unemployment in the areas.
