In the spirit of Ramadan, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central senatorial district, has distributed 1,200 bags of beans and 1,200 bags of millet to her constituents.
This gesture aims to alleviate the burden of food purchases during the holy month.
The distribution, whic covers all 57 wards in the district, targets various groups, including religious bodies, market women, forums, and party faithfuls, regardless of political affiliation.
Hon. Abdulrahman Badamasiu, former House of Representative Member, emphasized the importance of praying for Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, especially during the last ten days of Ramadan fasting.
He also highlighted her commitment to empowerment programs and training for constituents to become self-employed.
