The Kano State Police Command has received a report regarding a 16-year-old boy, Alex Ansol, who was found wandering in Dadin Kowa Village, Doguwa LGA, Kano State.
The appeal was made by CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, Police Public Relations Officer, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command
According to the report, Alex arrived in Nigeria with four relatives from Spain on 30th March 2026 via Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, en route to Kano to visit his father, Ansol Fan. However, the boy reportedly lost contact with his relatives along Jos to Saminaka road.
Alex speaks English, is thin, black in complexion, and has no tribal marks. He gave his address in Spain as Barsa Rub, Opp 46 Stadium.
The Kano State Police are currently making efforts to locate his relatives and reunite him with his family.
Authorities have urged anyone with information regarding Alex or his relatives to contact the Office of the Police Public Relations Officer, Kano State Command, or the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Doguwa Division at 07038363421.
