Markaz Ihyahi Sunnah Waikhmadil Bid’ah has celebrated five of its members who graduated from the Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc.) programme of Bayero University, Kano.
The graduands were inducted and took their professional oath during a ceremony held at Bayero University, Kano, on September 24, 2026, marking their formal entry into the nursing and midwifery professions.

They are Nur. Ruqoyyah Oluwafolaranmi Shehu, Nur. Mariam Abdullateef Korede, Nur. Hamza Rofiat, Nur. Abobarin Rodiat O. and Nur. Ologuntere Tawfiqot O.
One of the major highlights of the achievement was the performance of Nur. Mariam Abdullateef Korede, who emerged as the Overall Best Graduating Student in the Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Bayero University, Kano.
She was also recognised as the Best Graduating Student in the Pre-Clinical category for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The Markaz described the achievement as a reflection of Korede’s academic discipline, hard work and commitment to excellence throughout her training.
It congratulated the five graduands for successfully completing their academic programmes and taking the professional oath required of practitioners in the health sector.

The organisation said their induction marked the transition from academic training to professional service, where the knowledge and skills acquired would be applied to promote health and provide care to patients.
It urged the new professionals to uphold the values of compassion, integrity, competence and respect for human dignity in the discharge of their responsibilities.
The Markaz also encouraged them to continue pursuing professional development and contribute meaningfully to the improvement of healthcare delivery in their communities.
In a congratulatory message signed by Dr. Ibraheem Amosa (Mu’allim, Albany), Ph.D., the organisation expressed pride in the achievement of the five graduands and wished them success in their professional careers.
The Markaz further prayed that their professional journey would be marked by excellence, continuous learning and meaningful contributions to humanity.
