Kano State House of Assembly KNHA has confirmed seven nominees for appointment as members of the state executive council.
The confirmation came after a thorough three-and-a-half-hour screening, which ended in a unanimous acceptance of the nominees as commissioners-designate.

The nominees were announced by Speaker Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, who revealed that Nura Iro Ma’aji was added to the initial list of six nominees. The confirmed commissioners-designate include:
Former Chief of Staff: Shehu Wada Sagaji, who was relieved of his duty last Thursday
Ambassador Ibrahim Waiya
Abdulkadir Abdulsalam
Gaddafi Sani Shehu
Dr. Dahiru Hashim Muhammad
Dr. Ismail Aliyu Dannaraya
Interestingly, Shehu Wada Sagaji was relieved of his duty as Chief of Staff last Thursday, while the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, was dropped due to health conditions.
