Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima following his retention as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s running mate for a second term.
Governor Radda said the President’s decision reflects confidence in the Vice President’s performance, dedication and loyalty since the administration assumed office.
In a statement issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the governor described Shettima as a committed public servant who has discharged his responsibilities with diligence.
“Vice President Shettima has served with diligence, and the President’s decision to retain him speaks to his performance and loyalty,” the governor said.
Radda noted that the Vice President has played key roles in the Tinubu administration, including chairing the Presidential Committee on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), leading initiatives on energy security, and contributing to the administration’s economic policy discussions.
According to the governor, these responsibilities require strong administrative experience and sound political judgment, adding that President Tinubu’s decision to retain Shettima demonstrates satisfaction with his handling of these critical assignments.
On behalf of the government and people of Katsina State, Governor Radda congratulated the Vice President, describing his retention as recognition of his hard work and unwavering commitment to national service.
He expressed confidence that Shettima would continue to make significant contributions to the success of the Tinubu administration during its second term.
