The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has released the final list of successful candidates for the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II).
In a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, the Service advised applicants to visit the official NCS website or check selected national newspapers to verify their recruitment status and obtain information on the next stage of the exercise.
According to the statement, successful candidates will also receive notifications through their registered email addresses and SMS. They are required to log on to the recruitment portal using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
The Service said the portal for uploading the medical certificates will be activated on 29 July 2026, and candidates are expected to complete the process within one week of its activation.
The NCS further directed successful candidates to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept their provisional offers of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.
It added that successful applicants would subsequently receive their Trainee Identification Numbers within one week, while details of documentation and physical screening, including dates, venues and requirements, would be communicated through official channels.
The Service urged all successful candidates to comply strictly with the stipulated requirements and timelines, warning that failure to do so could result in disqualification and the forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
On behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, the Comptroller-General of Customs congratulated the successful candidates and encouraged them to uphold professionalism, integrity and dedication as they prepare to begin their careers in the Service.
