Alhaji Jibril Isma’il Falgore, the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, has reaffirmed the House’s commitment to ensuring a smooth passage of the proposed 2025 budget.
He emphasized that the budget will undergo meticulous scrutiny, adhering to constitutional guidelines .
In the past few months, the 10th Assembly has made significant strides, passing 217 resolutions and 11 laws, with many more in the pipeline.
Falgore commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his dedication to developing critical sectors such as health, education, and infrastructure.
The Speaker also seized the opportunity to appeal to the Governor to renovate and reconstruct the Kano State House of Assembly to international standards.
He believes that state-of-the-art facilities will boost morale and enable lawmakers to discharge their duties more effectively.
