The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has assured shortlisted candidates in its ongoing recruitment exercise that the Computer-Based Test (CBT) phase of the process will be conducted as planned.
Chairman of the Commission, Professor Tunji Olaopa, gave the assurance while reacting to reports circulating online claiming that the CBT had been cancelled.

In a statement issued over the weekend, the Commission described the reports as false, misleading and capable of causing unnecessary anxiety among applicants.
Professor Olaopa clarified that preparations for the CBT are ongoing and that the Commission remains committed to ensuring a transparent and credible recruitment process.
According to him, arrangements for the examination have already been put in place, while the Commission awaits the provision of the necessary resources required for the exercise.
The FCSC Chairman urged shortlisted candidates not to be distracted by unverified information circulating on social media and other online platforms.
He advised applicants to remain calm and patient while awaiting official communication from the Commission regarding the date and modalities for the CBT.
Professor Olaopa reiterated the Commission’s commitment to fairness, transparency and merit in the recruitment process, assuring candidates that updates would be communicated through official channels.
