The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, extends his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid El-Kabir celebration.
Falgore emphasized that Eid El-Kabir serves as a profound reminder of the values of sacrifice, sharing, and love. He urged Muslims to embrace the spirit of the celebration, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and upheld by Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a statement released to the press by his spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, Falgore expressed gratitude to all Assembly staff for their dedication and sacrifices. He assured them of brighter days ahead and reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing staff welfare, ensuring that their often-unseen contributions are recognized and rewarded in line with global best practices.
“As I extend my best wishes to the Muslim Ummah across Kano State, Nigeria, and the world, I also urge our people to embody the essence of sacrifice, tolerance, and mutual support, in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW),” Falgore stated.
He also commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his unwavering commitment to Kano’s development, particularly in education and human capital advancement.
Falgore further reiterated that the Kano State House of Assembly will continue to work in synergy with the Executive arm to strengthen legislative efforts aimed at improving the lives of citizens and consolidating the achievements recorded under the current administration.
