The Super Eagles on Thursday held a closed-door training session as they intensified preparations for their crucial Group C clash against Tunisia at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Nigeria will face the Carthage Eagles on Saturday in their second group fixture, coming off a 2–1 victory over Tanzania on Tuesday night.
The team had earlier undergone a light recovery session on Wednesday.
According to Team Media Officer, Promise Efoghe, Head Coach Éric Chelle opted for a private training session to allow the players maintain full focus and tactical discipline ahead of the important encounter.
The training session was held at the Sardienne Complex in Fès, with only the first 15 minutes of Friday’s training scheduled to be open to the media.
Attention now turns to Saturday’s high-stakes encounter as the Super Eagles look to sustain their winning start and strengthen their push for qualification from Group C.
