The Director General DG Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u Danbappa, has called on center officers of the 44 local government areas to uphold fairness, punctuality, trustworthiness, honesty, and proper record-keeping to achieve the set objectives of the 2024 hajj.
Danbappa made the call during an emergency meeting with the Centre Officers at the board’s headquarters in Kano.

In a statement by the public relations officer Kano state pilgrims welfare board Sulaiman Dederi, and made available to newsmen, the DG stated that at this crucial situation, he would not tolerate delay by the officers or staff of the board in discharging their duties.

Danbaffa warned the Centre Officers of the 44 Local Government areas against laziness and delay in service delivery.
He emphasized that, It is imperative that all chairmen at the local government levels fully cooperate with the Pilgrims Board to ensure that no individual is left behind. saying that those who have already made their initial payments should be provided with receipts and be informed of their remaining balance of 1,418,032.91
The director general seized the opportunity to remind the public that the collection of payments by the National Hajj Commission closed on March 28, 2024.
He stressed the importance of ensuring that all banks remit the funds into the board’s bank account for onward transfer to NAHCON.
