Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing Qur’anic education and research.
The agreement, facilitated under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Abdulrashid Garba, was reached in collaboration with the International Institute of Qur’anic Science (IIQS) and the Centre for Qur’anic Studies and Research of Northwest University Kano.

The strategic partnership is designed to strengthen Qur’anic education through structured training programmes focused on literacy, numeracy, and the rich heritage of Islamic civilisation, particularly targeting Alarammomi.
University authorities say the initiative underscores their commitment to bridging traditional Islamic scholarship with contemporary knowledge systems, equipping learners with both spiritual grounding and practical skills relevant to modern society.
The collaboration is also expected to enhance research, promote academic exchange, and preserve the integrity of Qur’anic learning while expanding its impact in a rapidly evolving world.
With this development, Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University further reinforces its position as a growing hub for innovation and excellence in faith-based education.
