The Makaman Katsina District Head of Bakori Katsina state Alhaji Garba Tukur Idris has turban Alhaji Shehu Ishiye as Chigarin Bakori and nine others.
Alhaji Shehu Ishiye was elavated from Barayan Bakori to Chigarin Makaman Bakori following his remarkable achievement at the palace.
Performing the ceremony at his place in Bakori, Makama urged the newly turbaned traditional holders that, “leadership is a trust” and urged them to contribute meaningfully in ensuring the development of the area.

He said those turbaned have been playing vital role toward the development of their various communities, local government, Katsina and the country at large and urged them to maintain the tempo.
He then thanked the State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, for his firm commitment in addressing security challenges in the state and call on people of the state to support the government and security agencies with prayers to end this criminal activities.
Earlier, in his welcome address, the Chairman of Bakori Local Government, Alhaji Aminu Dan Hamidu, pleaded with the state government to construct Bakori-Tsiga and Bakori-Kurami roads as well as to rehabilitate Kabomo Earth Dam.
Dan Hamidu further explained that, the construction of the roads and rehabilitation of the Dam would help towards improving the economic standard of the people a d enhance security situation of the area.

Those turbaned include Ibrahim Tukur as Wazirin Makama, Alhaji Mukhtar Tukur as Ajiyan Bakori who is also a nephew of Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, and Alhaji Ali Abubakar as Sarkin Fada the Second.
Others are Alhaji Mukhtar Hamza Idris as Wakilin Makaman Katsina, Alhaji Muhammad Isah Abdulkadir as Danmaliki, Alhaji Alhasan Sai’du as Sarkin Aikin Makama, and Alhaji Haruna Mohamed as Dan Kafi.
Alhaji Yusuf Isah Abdulkadir as Falakin Makama and Awwalu Usman Kandarawa as Dan Iyan Makaman Katsina who succeeded his father Alhaji Usman Kandarwa former staff of Radio Nigeria Kaduna.
In attendance at the ceremony were the State governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda, his Deputy, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, the National Coordinator New Partnership for African Development (NEPAD), Alhaji Abdullahi Jabiru Tsauri
Others are the Executive Director Agric Services of Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority, Alhaji Muntaka Badaru Jikamshi, some members of the executive and legislative arms, as well as traditional title holders and other well-wishers.
