Ado Salisu Two officials of the Kano State Sports Commission (KSSC) and their driver have escaped death following a road accident while travelling to Kaduna for the Northwest zonal eliminations of the upcoming National Sports Festival in Enugu. The incident occurred at Tashar Yari, near Zaria in Kaduna State, along the Kano-Kaduna Expressway, approximately 125 kilometres from Kano. The Kano State Government has approved the restructuring of the Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) Programme Team following the completion and review of an investigative committee’s report on the preparation and implementation of the 2026 SMC exercise in the state.
