British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known as Denisi or Ego, has died after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure during a luxury trip to Thailand with his wife. Nigeria has called for stronger mechanisms to ensure that early warning information translates into timely action to protect lives and livelihoods across Africa. The call was made by a Nigerian representative at the Africa Early Warnings Forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where governments, disaster management institutions and development partners met to strengthen people-centred early warning systems across the continent. The Center for Inclusive Development, CID, in partnership with the Community Advancement Initiative for Self-Reliance, CAI4SR, has organised a three-day capacity-building workshop in Osun State to strengthen the capacity of women with disabilities to prevent and respond to gender-based violence, GBV. The African Aviation and Aerospace University, AAAU, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with Kebal Krystal Works Limited, KKL, for the development of a hotel resort project at the University.
